A plain-language summary for schools, families and staff
Administrators and staff can see the roster, group assignments and participation counts, such as how many students practiced, how many minutes, and which tools and pillars were used. Reports are totals, not transcripts.
They cannot read what a student wrote, selected or saved inside a tool. MindPrep does not monitor what students type and does not alert staff to it.
Students who are enrolled at a school can tap “I'd like to connect” to let their school know they would like to talk with someone. When they do, MindPrep records who asked and when, and emails the school's administrators. There is no message or detail attached.
This means the school learns that student's name when they tap it. It is the only place in MindPrep where a student's identity is shared with the school as a request, and it only happens because the student chose to do it. MindPrep is not a crisis service. Students in immediate danger should call 911, or call or text 988 in the United States.
A small set of providers help us run the service: Supabase (database and sign in), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), Resend (email) and Sentry (error monitoring). The full list, and what each one does, is in our Privacy Policy.
If your school or district needs a data privacy agreement, or has questions we have not answered here, email hello@mindprep.app. See also our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
