What is MindPrep?
MindPrep is a library of 60+ short, interactive tools for building mental skills across academics, wellness and performance. Students choose what they need and practice a skill in a few minutes, on their own or led by a teacher, counselor or coach. Schools also get a resource hub for their own support contacts and an administrator dashboard.
How do students get access?
Schools share a link or QR code, or add students by email or CSV import. Importing your roster gives every student their own account, so you can say all students have access and see participation counts. Students can start practicing right away.
Can we try it first?
Yes. The public demo needs no account, and new school accounts include a 14-day free trial.
How long does setup take?
Most schools only need to add their name, logo, and support contacts, then share the link. Importing a roster is optional, and it is the quickest way to give every student access.
Pricing
What does it cost?
The school plan is $299 per month or $2,990 per year, with unlimited students. Districts with multiple schools can contact us for custom pricing.
Can we cancel?
Yes, at any time. Email hello@mindprep.app and we will take care of it.
Privacy and safety
What can teachers and administrators see?
The roster, groups, and practice activity such as minutes practiced and overall usage trends. They cannot read what a student writes or saves inside a tool.
What happens when a student taps "I'd like to connect"?
Their school's administrators get an email that a student would like to talk with someone, and the school sees that student's name. No message or detail is attached. It only happens when the student chooses it. Our Student Data Protection page has the full picture.
Do you sell student data or show ads?
No. We do not sell personal information and there is no advertising. Marketing analytics are turned off inside the student app and admin area.
Is MindPrep therapy or a crisis service?
No. It is an educational skill-practice tool. It does not diagnose, treat, or monitor students for risk. Students who need help are pointed to their school's own support contacts, and in an emergency to 911 or 988.
Who can I ask about my child's data?
Start with your school, which controls access. You can also email hello@mindprep.app and we will work with the school.
Using it in school
Can teachers use it with a whole class?
Yes. Teachers can share a tool by link, assign a playbook to students or groups, and use a projectable classroom mode to lead a shared activity with the whole class.
Does it replace our counselors?
No. It gives students something useful in the moment and connects them to the people at school who can help.
